Demolition of Sampyo RMC Seongsu Factory After 45 Years of Operation
Since 1977, the residents near the Sampyo RMC Seongsu Factory have been suffering from noise, dust, traffic congestion, and other issues arising from its operation. The demolition put an end to the decades-long issue.
The old Sampyo factory site will be renewed as an attraction of Seoul. The site will be designed to be harmonizing with Seoul Forest and watersides next to Hangang River and Jungnangcheon Stream.

ROUND STITCH VARSITY JUMPER IN IVORY
In February 2022, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport made an official announcement on adding four extra stations to GTX-C line (Wangsimni, Indeogwon, Uiwang, Sangnoksu).
As a result, Wangsimni Station will become the best transfer station in northeast Seoul by combining subway lines 2 and 5, Gyeongui-Jungang line, Suin-Bundang line, Dongbuk line, and GTX-C line.

Recycling of coffee grounds that used to be left out as regular waste from coffee stores is recycled as lumber and biofuel, etc.
The recycling project will create an incredible reduction of 252 tons of regular waste and 85 tons of carbon emission, providing recycled products as amenities to return the outcome to local residents.

Selection as Future Cultural City Adding Culture to Inclusive Smart City
